If the White House is serious about confronting the opioid crisis then I would urge President Trump to endorse my legislation, S. 2004, the Combating the Opioid Epidemic Act. This legislation would invest the $45 billion in the opioid fight that the White House says it wants without eliminating coverage for substance use disorder as the Administration\u2019s health care scheme did by decimating Medicaid.\u201d\r\nMore information on the bill, which was introduced this week, can be found here: https://www.casey.senate.gov/newsroom/releases/casey-leads-legislation-to-invest-45b-to-address-opioid-crisis", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://www.casey.senate.gov/newsroom/releases/casey-responds-to-administrations-stated-support-for-45-billion-in-opioid-funding"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 2.315244870260358, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
