Cassidy also toured unCommon Construction, which trains apprentices to be skilled laborers in the construction trades.\n\n\u201cLouisiana businesses thrive when they have a skilled workforce, safe community, and the tools to keep building,\u201d said Dr. Cassidy. \u201cThat\u2019s exactly what I\u2019m working on in Congress.\u201d\n\nCassidy supported the Working Families Tax Cut bill which ended taxes on tips and overtime, extended the Child Tax Credit, allowed businesses to deduct 100% of their new business investments, and made permanent the 20% small business pass-through deduction.
