They should be protected when they do,\u201d said Dr. Cassidy. \u201cWe\u2019re giving parents peace of mind by protecting their kids\u2019 personal information.\u201d\n\nThe Children and Teens\u2019 Online Privacy Protection Act would prohibit targeted advertising to children and teenagers. It would also establish data minimization rules and an \u201cEraser Button\u201d for users to delete all collected information on a child or teenager.
