I look forward to the House passing this bill and the president signing it into law.\r\nLast month, a man in Los Angelesattempted to run over Jews with his carnear a synagogue. In August a suspected terrorist targeted pedestrians with his vehicleoutside the Houses of Parliament in London, and in Julytwo Americans were killed in Tajikistanin an attack claimed by ISIS.\r\nThe legislation directs the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to provide a report to Congress regarding its efforts to assess and prevent terrorist attacks involving vehicles.
