In addition to preserving historic battlefield sites, the CWBPP has helped to enhance tourism, support local and state economies and increase land conservation.
LINKS: • Vicksburg National Military Park: http://www.nps.gov/vick/index.htm • American Battlefield Protection Program: http://www.nps.gov/hps/abpp/ • Civil War Trust: http://www.civilwar.org/ • Civil War Trust “Land Saved”: http://www.civilwar.org/land-preservation/land-saved/ • Civil War Trust “Save Vicksburg 2013” Campaign: http://www.civilwar.org/battlefields/vicksburg/vicksburg-2013/
###", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at
url
https://www.cochran.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/news-releases?ContentRecord_id=26098adf-2e31-47c7-ad9f-092b6245abf0
