The Department\u2019s Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) will grant $581,024 to Greater Portland Health through its Health Center Cluster program and $146,822 through its Ryan White Part C Outpatient EIS program. \u00a0\n\u00a0\n\u201cCommunity health centers, like Greater Portland Health, help Mainers across our state receive the high quality care they deserve,\u201d Senators Collins and King said in a joint statement. \u201cThese federal grants offer critical support for people in the Greater Portland area, and we applaud HHS for recognizing Greater Portland Health\u2019s commitment to the surrounding community.\u201d\n\u00a0\nHRSA is an agency within HHS that is tasked with improving access to health care by building healthy communities, strengthening the health care workforce, and achieving health equity. HRSA\u2019s Health Cluster programs targets the economic and medically vulnerable as well as the geographically isolated.
