More specifically, the award will\u00a0support planning, management, engineering services, and emergent availability and repairs.\n\u201cThis announcement is welcome news for the hardworking and highly-skilled men and women at Bath Iron Works,\u201d\u00a0said Senators Collins and King in a joint statement.\u00a0\u201cAn investment in BIW is not only an investment in the future of the Navy, but also in Maine\u2019s economy and our people.
