These systems, used in Army Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles, will support 20 new jobs in Saco, a nearly ten percent increase in the facility\u2019s current workforce of more than 200.\n\n\u201cThe contract awarded to General Dynamics\u2019 Saco Facility is especially good news for the skilled workers who will be responsible for the assembly of the these critical weapons protection systems,\u201d said Senator Collins. \u201cThe \u201cIron-Fist\u201d systems are designed to defeat rocket-propelled grenades and anti-tank guided missiles, improving the safety of our soldiers\u2019 in combat zones.
