As the Chairman of the Housing Appropriations Subcommittee, I am committed to ensuring that the housing needs of all Mainers are met. By supporting public housing agencies, this funding will help connect individuals with the resources they need to achieve economic independence.\n\nThe funding will be allocated as follows:\n\nAugusta Housing Authoritywill receive $32,484.\n\nBangor Housing Authoritywill receive $63,709.\n\nCity of Caribouwill receive $57,446.\n\nHousing Authority of Brewerwill receive $60,978.\n\nHousing Authority of Old Townwill receive $47,944.\n\nLewiston Housing Authoritywill receive $58,873.\n\nMaine State Housing Authoritywill receive $62,467.\n\nPortland Housing Authoritywill receive $78,659.\n\nWestbrook Housing Authoritywill receive $47,266.\n\nAs the Chairman of the Housing Appropriations Subcommittee, Senator Collins has worked hard to preserve and modernize affordable housing units across the State of Maine. Earlier this month, sheannounced$120,000 for housing authorities in Aroostook and Sagadahoc Counties.
