The Factory of the Future will be a 50,000 square foot facility that will usher in a new era of large-scale advanced manufacturing at the nexus of engineering and computing. The Factory will serve as a new national model to integrate research, leaning, and manufacturing.\n\n\u201cUMaine\u2019s Factory of the Future will establish Maine as a national leader in additive and advanced manufacturing,\u201d said Senator Collins. \u201cThis state-of-the-art facility will spur innovation, strengthen our national defense, and give students invaluable experience in pioneering high-tech industries.\u201d\n\nSenator Collins has secured more than $90 million to support the Factory of the Future project.
