I am so impressed by how hard everyone works at Reeds Brook in the classroom and in extra activities like sports, music, and the arts,\u201d said Senator Collins. \u201cIn addition to excellence in the classroom and in school activities, Reeds Brook has a wonderful tradition of serving your community.\u201d\nDarci Greenacre, an alumna of Reeds Brook and a member of Senator Collins\u2019 staff, introduced Senator Collins at the celebration.\n\u201cI am especially happy to be here with Darci, an outstanding member of my staff in Washington and a 2002 graduate of Reeds Brook,\u201d Senator Collins continued. \u201cWhen I learned about all of the great things you do to become a Blue Ribbon School, I told Darci that now I know why she\u2019s so good at her job serving the people of Maine and of our country.\u201d\nReeds Brook Middle School\u2019s Blue Ribbon designation recognizes the school's high learning standards and progress towards closing achievement gaps.
