It is an honor that all of you earned by working together,\u201d said Senator Collins. \u201cI was so impressed by how hard everyone works at Sea Road School in the classroom and in activities like sports, music, and the arts. This designation says a lot about how this whole community works together for good education.\u201d\nSea Road School\u2019s Blue Ribbon designation recognizes the school's high learning standards and progress towards closing achievement gaps. Out of nearly 130,000 schools in America, Sea Road School is one of just 329 to achieve this award this year.\nDuring the event, Senator Collins presented Dr. Marquis with a copy of the statement she entered into the Congressional Record commending the Sea Road School community on its Blue Ribbon designation.
