Enercon designs and builds electro-mechanical devices for the medical, industrial, and defense sectors, including medical devices, circuit boards.\n\n\u201cEnercon Technologies is doing impressive work in Gray, employing hundreds of Mainers to design and manufacture products that support medical technology, national defense, and other important industries,\u201d said Senator Collins. \u201cI enjoyed touring the facility, meeting with members of the Enercon team, and seeing firsthand the skill and precision that have made this company a valued part of Maine\u2019s advanced manufacturing sector.\u201d\n\nAs the Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Senator Collins secured $3 million in the recently enacted defense appropriations bill to support the manufacture of small unmanned aircraft systems for Air Force Special Operations Command.
