Sawyer is a graduate of Scarborough High School.\n\n\"I am delighted to welcome Sawyer to my Washington, D.C., office,\" said Senator Collins. \"Sawyer has an excellent work ethic, and I am pleased that she will have the opportunity to see the legislative process firsthand as well as serve her fellow Mainers.\"\n\nSawyer graduated from Emmanuel College, where she majored in Political Science with minors in Statistics and Political Communication. On campus, she was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha\u2014the National Political Science Honor Society.
