The funding comes from the DOJ\u2019s Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program, which Sen. Cornyn voted to fund as part of last year\u2019s Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act.\n\n\u201cThere is a domestic violence epidemic in the United States, and we owe it to survivors, victims, and the American people to get dangerous attackers off our streets,\u201d said Sen.
