The reauthorization of this bill would extend the program through 2030.\n\n\u201cThe alarming rise of antisemitism across our country is a stark reminder we need to do more than just simply say \u2018never again,\u2019 and educate our young people,\u201d said Senator Cramer. \u201cIn the wake of the horrific attacks in Israel just a few months ago, educating Americans and the world about the horrors of the Holocaust is more important now than ever before.\u201d\n\nThe Never Again Education Act, which was first introduced in July of 2019, passed the House on January 29, 2020, and passed the Senate by voice vote on May 13, 2020. The legislation was then signed into law on May 29, 2020 by former President Donald Trump.\n\nThis bill is supported by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and is endorsed by the Anti-Defamation League, the American Jewish Committee, and the National Education Association.
