I am not pleased with everything included in today's deal, especially the extension of the wind production tax credit which was supposed to phase out. However, this package prioritizes our most fundamental constitutional duty to provide for our national defense, and it supports the people who keep our country safe and free. It also advances important domestic policies and greatly benefits North Dakota. I thank Senate leaders for including several of our priorities, and I look forward to the President signing it.\n \nSenator Cramer's priorities found in today's appropriations package include:\n \n\tThe longest Export-Import Bank reauthorization in history, an issue Senator Cramer first introduced in July.\n\tThe renaming of Sullys Hill National Game Preserve in North Dakota to White Horse Hill, which Senator Cramer first introduced in July.\n\tFull defense funding to accompany this year's National Defense Authorization Act, which Senator Cramer helped pass earlier this month.\n\tThe Affordable Insulin Approvals Now Act, which Senator Cramer introduced in July.\n\tContinued funding for border wall construction without placing limits on the President's transfer authority.\n\tIncreased funding for more Customs and Border Protections (CBP) law enforcement officers.\n\tPresident Trump's Title X regulations, which have virtually eliminated federal funds being given to abortion providers like Planned Parenthood.\n\tFull repeal of the three main Obamacare taxes: Cadillac Tax, Medical Device Tax and Health Insurance Tax. Senator Cramer cosponsored all three repeal provisions.\n\tThe Manufactured Housing Modernization Act, which Senator Cramer first introduced in June.\n\tThe Protecting Access to Biosimilars Act, which Senator Cramer cosponsored in May.\n\tELD exemption for livestock and insects.\n\tExtension of the short line railroad track maintenance tax credit.\n\tProtection for electric cooperatives' tax-exempt status with the inclusion of the RURAL Act, which Senator Cramer cosponsored in May.\n \nClick here for more information from the Senate Appropriations Committee on the bills passed by Congress today.\n###", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://www.cramer.senate.gov/sen-cramer-issues-statement-appropriations-bills-passed-congress-highlights-priorities-included"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 6.6451579332351685, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
