She previously worked as an associate manager for international policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and as a professional staff member for the Committee under then-Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa). She earned her M.A. in International Trade and Investment Policy from The George Washington University and a B.A. in French and International Trade from Clemson University.\n\nMichael Hawthorne, Tax Counsel\n\nMichael joins the Committee from Squire Patton Boggs, where he was an associate in the Public Policy Practice Group working on issues involving tax and trade legislation. He previously served as a law clerk on the Senate Judiciary Committee under Ranking Member Grassley, the House Ways and Means Committee under Ranking Member Kevin Brady (R-Texas) and the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations under Chairman Rob Portman (R-Ohio). He received his J.D. and his B.A. in Political Science from The George Washington University.\n\nAlexander Hughes, Press Assistant\n\nAlexander joins the Committee as a recent graduate of Harvard University, where he earned his A.B. in Government. He previously interned at the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party under Chairman John Moolenaar (R-Michigan) and at National Review.\n\nAnna Rose Moore, Senior Health Policy Advisor\n\nAnna Rose joins the Committee from the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions under Chairman Bill Cassidy (R-Louisiana), where she was a health policy advisor working on issues including commercial health insurance and pharmacy benefit manager reform.
