Specifically, the resolution states Israel is not a racist state, Congress rejects all forms of antisemitism and xenophobia, and the United States will always be a staunch partner and supporter of Israel.\n\nThe resolution, of which Senator Crapo is an original co-sponsor, was introduced by Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) and was passed by the Senate unanimously. U.S. Representative August Pfluger (R-Texas) introduced the resolution in the U.S. House of Representatives ahead of Israeli President Isaac Herzog\u2019s joint address to Congress on July 19, 2023.
