The Idaho Congressional Delegation will make every effort to distribute the tickets made available to Idahoans on a "first-come, first-served" basis and preference will be given to Idaho residents. Those who wish to request tickets for the but are not from Idaho should contact their respective member of Congress.
While additional information on the ceremony itself can be found on the website for the
Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, below are a few quick tips for Idahoans to keep in mind:
Tickets to attend the presidential Inauguration swearing-in ceremony and parade are free and distributed through congressional offices. Idahoans should not purchase tickets to these events from other, possibly unreliable sources.
Due to anticipated demand and the limited number of tickets to the event, each request will be limited to four per request. If a party requires more than four tickets, an additional request may be submitted.
Tickets to the Inauguration swearing-in ceremony are required for every person, including children and infants in arms. Full names and ages must be provided on the request form; make sure to include yourself (or the requesting individual) on the request form.
The majority of tickets are standing-room only and are only for the swearing-in ceremony and cannot be used for any Inaugural balls or other events.
Tickets are not necessary to view the Inauguration swearing-in ceremony; the tickets simply allow access to specific sections of the Capitol Grounds. There will be large sections of the National Mall that will be accessible to the general public; typically jumbo viewing screens are set up throughout the National Mall.

# # #

   Print

   Email

       Next Article

       Previous Article", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at
url
https://www.crapo.senate.gov/media/newsreleases/release_full.cfm?id=362986
