During her 15 terms in the Idaho Legislature, Bell also served as the Co-Chair of the Joint Finance and Appropriations Committee (JFAC). Bell earned an Associate of Arts in library science from College of Southern Idaho. Bell also attended Idaho State University and worked as a librarian.\n\n\u201cRepresentative Bell\u2019s wisdom and guidance leading JFAC has had a profound and lasting impact on the fiscal responsibility of the state of Idaho,\u201d said Crapo. \u201cHer prudence extends far past her work in the legislature, making her an esteemed leader in Jerome and beyond.\u201d\n\n\u201cRepresentative Maxine Bell dedicated her life to serving her community and the people of Idaho,\u201d said Risch. \u201cHer remarkable 30-year tenure in the Idaho legislature brought about great progress for the Magic Valley and strengthened our state.
