Senator Steve Daines today posted the complete text of the newly released Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) and is encouraging Montanans to read the trade agreement and provide him with feedback.\r\nThe bipartisan Trade Promotion Authority legislation passed earlier this year was an important first step in establishing clear guidelines that enforce transparency, maintain Congress' important role in the process and ensure Montanans' voices are heard in all trade negotiations.\r\nThe full text of the Trans Pacific Partnership is availablehere. The text will be available for several months before Congress considers it for a vote.\r\nI'm pleased that the Trans Pacific Partnership will be considered in a transparent process and will be available to the public in its entirety for several months before Congress votes on it,Daines stated.I will closely scrutinize the TPP and work with Montanans to understand the impact the finalized agreement will have on Montana and the country as a whole.
