I look forward to seeing President-elect Trump and Congress stop this assault on energy innovation.\r\nAlan Olson, Montana Petroleum Association: The Montana Petroleum Association and their member producing companies are extremely disappointed that the Bureau of Land Management has concluded rulemaking on venting and flaring of natural gas. The State of Montana adopted rules regarding venting, flaring, and waste of gas in the 1980's recognizing gas as a resource to conserve. Many other states have also enacted rules to conserve natural gas resources while also taking into account the financial and environmental burdens to the oil and gas operator.
