Graham, Scott, and Wilson argue that the continued investment into the AMC will help protect South Carolina jobs, promote innovation, and ensure South Carolina workers and businesses benefit from the next generation of energy and manufacturing technologies.\n\nGraham, Scott and Wilson wrote, \u201cAs the nation takes steps to implement President Trump\u2019s vision of a U.S. Nuclear Renaissance, the AMC will ensure DOE and its industry partners have the tools and talent to work on the most challenging questions related to the fuel cycle and weapons production. Finally, among its many ancillary benefits, the AMC will also help educate and train a future workforce skilled in advanced manufacturing, as well as drive innovation in artificial intelligence-enabled automation, novel materials development for fusion energy, and nuclear applications.\u201d\n\nThey continued, \u201cTo ensure the AMC\u2019s success, an enduring investment of $20 million per year is needed for facility operations and equipment, research, and partnerships.
