U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly today announced federal grants to help safety and operations at four Hoosier fire departments: Cicero Fire Department, Boone Township Volunteer Fire Department, Brown Township Fire and Rescue, and Hagerstown-Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department. The grants, totaling $407,300, are funded by the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).\r\nDonnelly said, Every day, our firefighters and first responders put their lives on the line to protect our communities.
