The Veterans History Project is an effort by the Library of Congress to preserve the historic experiences of those who served in the United States military by recording their personal narratives and archiving them for future use by historians, teachers, and the general public.\r\nDonnelly said, \u201cThe men and women who courageously served our country have moving stories to share about their service. It is important that we record their statements so that future generations have the opportunity to learn from their experiences and appreciate the sacrifices they have made to protect our freedoms.\u201d\r\nDonnelly\u2019s staff and other Hoosier volunteers will be present to interview veterans.\u00a0Donnelly will not be present.
