The full transcript from the video is included below.\r\n\u201cWe\u2019re now at the end of the year, and looking back over the past, oh, 12 months or so, we are reminded of the special moments we\u2019ve shared with family and friends.\u00a0 Each one will serve as an instant replay memory we will look back on for years to come.  \u00a0\r\n\u201cYes, it\u2019s that time of year \u2013 and we shouldn\u2019t be surprised.\u00a0 It\u2019s taken almost 12 months to get here and the signs of the season are everywhere.\u00a0 Snow, smiling faces and the ultimate proof \u2013 the store windows in Gillette, Cheyenne, and Casper and all around Wyoming -- are dressed up in their holiday best.\u00a0 This is the time of year when we\u2019re all shopping and preparing to celebrate the coming days with friends and family.\u00a0 \r\n\u201cThis is also the time of year when children of all ages are preparing their lists.\u00a0 Diana and I are making a list, too, of some of the things for which we\u2019re most grateful.\u00a0 It\u2019s one of our family traditions -- something you never outgrow.\r\n\u201cSo -- here\u2019s our list of just a few of the ways we have been blessed this year--\u00a0\r\n\u201cBy our veterans and those who currently serve in our armed forces \u2013 thanks to them, our freedoms will continue to be protected and preserved.\u00a0 We owe them all a great debt for what they have always done to ensure that our American way of life will always be ours to enjoy.\u00a0 God bless and be with them all as they spend their holiday far away from home and family and friends.\u00a0 We pray that when they have completed their service God will bring them all safely home again.\r\n\u201cBy those who serve every day on our volunteer fire departments and our emergency and rescue personnel -- they have a very difficult and dangerous job to do and we appreciate the peace of mind they bring to all of us every day of the year.\u00a0 Thanks to them, Mothers and Fathers, and Grandfathers and Grandmothers can sleep much easier at night knowing that their children and grandchildren are safe.\r\n\u201cBy those who volunteer their time reaching out to others to help them in every aspect of their lives.\u00a0 There is such great need and thanks to those who answer the call, our communities and our state of Wyoming are much better places to live.\u00a0 If you would like to get active and get involved call your local community services organizations to volunteer to help.\u00a0 They can always use an extra pair of hands.\r\n\u201cThis time of year also reminds us to spend a little more time with our children and grandchildren.\u00a0 Our children remind us of our past \u2013 of all we have achieved.\u00a0 Our grandchildren remind us of our shared future and the challenges that await us.\u00a0 Together they are our greatest gift for the holidays.\r\n\u201cDiana joins in sending our best wishes to all of our Wyoming friends at this special time of year.\u00a0 Being back home means so very much to us.\u00a0 There\u2019s no greater family tradition than being home for the holidays.\r\n\u201cI know I won\u2019t be the first \u2013 but let me be among the chorus of those you will hear every day \u2013 just about everywhere you go -- Merry Christmas!\u00a0 Happy New Year!\r\n\u201cThe sound of those special words always helps to brighten the day and lift my spirits.\r\n\u201cDiana and I hope the joy of this special season stays with you \u2013 not just today and tomorrow \u2013 but throughout the year.\r\n\u201cThat is why our wish for you and your family is for the Christmas season and the coming New Year to be everything you\u2019ve ever wished or hoped for.\u00a0 This is truly the season when dreams come true.\u00a0 Ask any child \u2013 no matter their age!\u00a0 May it be so for you and your families, too.\u00a0 God bless.\u201d", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://www.enzi.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/news-releases?ContentRecord_id=e2c8e7fe-9af2-4ea4-87eb-061093929ef1"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.9900820441544056, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
