Led by Senator Enzi.\r\nFinancial Aid Simplification and Transparency Act  simplifies the student financial aid system and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Led by Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN).\r\nBorn-Alive Abortion Survivor Protection Act  sets out requirements for health care practitioners in the event a child is born alive during the abortion process and also lays out penalties for violations of these procedures.Led by Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE).\r\nPharmacy and Medically Underserved Areas Enhancement Act  would allow pharmacists to serve Medicare beneficiaries and receive reimbursement to their full scope of practice, as allowable by the state and Medicare. Sent with Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) and Representative Cynthia Lummis (R-WY).\r\nOther Legislative Activities\r\nNamed Host of 40th Anniversary of the Washington Performing Arts Embassy Adoption Program  Senator Enzi, as Co-Chair of the Senate Cultural Caucus, will be a host of a reception and concert on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 honoring the 40th anniversary of the Embassy Adoption Program. This program pairs 5th and 6th grade classrooms in the D.C. public schools (across all eight Wards) with foreign embassies desiring to share their countries and cultures with the students.
