Senator Fetterman was joined on the letter by Pennsylvania Representatives Dan Meuser (R-PA) and Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA). The members expressed the importance of PA mushroom growers\u2019 comments because of the commonwealth\u2019s outsized role in mushroom production.\n\nThe letter reads in part: \u201cThis rule is well-intentioned, but our offices have heard from constituents with concerns about the rule. It\u2019s imperative that PA mushroom growers\u2019 voices are heard to improve the final rule that AMS issues. We represent all or part of Pennsylvania, which is known in the agricultural community as the \u02dcMushroom Capital of the World.\u2019 Southeastern PA represents the vast majority of U.S. mushroom production across all 50 states.
