To Nebraska\u2019s men and women in blue: Thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our people and state.\u201d\n\nFischer\u2019s Work with Nebraska\u2019s Law Enforcement:\n\nFederal investments\n\nAs a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Fischer has secured millions of dollars to invest in Nebraska\u2019s law enforcement. This includes upgrades to emergency communications and information systems and access to body cameras. Click here for more information on the funding Fischer secured this year.\n\nWith federal funding Fischer secured in 2024, the Omaha Police Department was able to procure a new helicopter, now used by their Air Wing.
