That\u2019s why I\u2019ve introduced the HAULS Act to ensure that Nebraska\u2019s ag products reach consumers in a safe and timely manner,\u201d Fischer said.\n\nThe HAULS Act would:\n\nEliminate the requirement that ag and livestock hours-of-service (HOS) exemptions only apply during state designated planting and harvesting seasons.\n\nAmend and clarify the definition of \u201cagricultural commodities\u201d based on feedback provided by agriculture and livestock organizations.\n\nExpands on Fischer provision signed into law by authorizing a 150 air-mile exemption from HOS requirements on the destination side of a haul for ag commodity haulers.", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-04-06T20:09:11Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://www.fischer.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/news?ID=73823F73-6E45-447F-89D5-11B27A876485"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.7866970263421535, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
