Congratulations, Judge Bazis!\u201d\n\nBackground:\n\nSenator Fischer first recommended Susan Bazis as a federal judge to President Biden for the District of Nebraska in January of 2023.\n\nBazis\u2019 nomination now enters the Senate confirmation process. After a confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, the committee will vote on her nomination.
