We appreciate the bipartisan Commission\u2019s work to develop and unanimously endorse this report. We look forward to continuing conversations with the Commissioners on their findings and options to strengthen our national defense.\u201d\n\nBackground\n\nThe Fiscal Year 2022 (FY 2022) National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) established the Congressional Commission on the Strategic Posture of the United States (Commission) and tasked it with examining the long-term strategic posture of the United States.
