Their evil knows no limits and it is time the United States applies maximum pressure to contain this rogue regime. I will continue to work with the Administration to sanction all entities, wherever they may be based, that aide North Korea's nuclear program.\u201d\r\n\u00a0\r\nGardner authored the North Korea Sanctions Policy and Enhancement Act,\u00a0which\u00a0was\u00a0signed into law by President Obama in February of 2016\u00a0and\u00a0marked the first time Congress imposed stand-alone mandatory sanctions on North Korea. Gardner\u00a0recently introduced comprehensive bipartisan legislation\u00a0to\u00a0impose an economic and diplomatic embargo against North Korea and its enablers, and to authorize efforts to combat Pyongyang\u2019s widespread human rights and labor trafficking abuses.\u00a0He has also\u00a0sent a letter\u00a0to Ambassadors of nations maintaining diplomatic ties with North Korea, calling on these nations to cease all official diplomatic and economic relations with North Korea.\r\n\u00a0\r\n###\r\n\u00a0\r\nCory\u00a0Gardner\u00a0is a member of the U.S. Senate serving Colorado.
