That is why the work of New Hampshire\u2019s law enforcement officers is so vital,\u201d said Senator Hassan. \u201cI am so impressed by the work that our law enforcement officers do every day on behalf of our state and what it means to our communities, and I want to congratulate all those being honored this year. As our law enforcement officers continue their heroic efforts to keep the public safe, I look forward to continuing to work together to build a safer and stronger New Hampshire.\u201d\n\n\u201cThis annual ceremony serves as a testament to the outstanding service of our Granite State law enforcement officers. While often underappreciated and unheralded, they remain committed to serving and protecting Granite Staters, even when it means putting their own well-being at risk. Such a level of dedication is a source of great pride and admiration across our state,\u201d said Senator Shaheen. \u201cThis year\u2019s honorees demonstrated exceptional courage in addition to a deep-rooted commitment to keeping our communities safe. I remain committed to ensuring that law enforcement, public safety, and first responders get the resources they need to do their jobs and keep our communities healthy, safe, and secure.\u201d\n\nThe following groups and individuals were recognized:\n\nFor their response to a bus depot explosion on March 3, 2022, Chief Edward Shaughnessy and Sergeant Neil Flanagan of the Bradford Police Department received Above and Beyond the Call of Duty. Philip Biron, Michael Boucher, David Camire, Debra Dimond, Drew Patterson, Hunter Patterson, Joshua Raney, Emily Selig Roy, Derek Sykes, and Jeffrey Sykes received Associate Service Awards.\n\nFor the State Police SWAT response to a man with a gun in Claremont on March 31, 2021, NH State Police Sergeant Gary Ingham, Sergeant Shane Larkin, Sergeant Noah Sanctuary, Trooper First Class Nicholas Cyr, Trooper First Class Stefan Czyzowski, and Trooper William Neilsen received a Unit Citation Award.\n\nFor their work on the cold case of a missing person from July 1978, Conservation Officer Joseph Canfield, Sergeant Kevin Bronson, Sergeant Geoff Pushee, and Conservation Officer Graham Courtney of the NH Fish and Game Department received a Unit Citation Award.\n\nFor their response to a juvenile in distress rescue on June 10, 2022, Detective Molly Martuscello and Officer Juel Cooper of the Dover Police Department received the Officer Richard W. Bateman Dedication and Professionalism Award.\n\nFor rescuing a woman from a burning vehicle on May 25, 2022, Officer Haley Magee of the Hampton Police Department received the Officer Richard W. Bateman Dedication and Professionalism Award.\n\nFor recognition of his dedication throughout his career with the State Police, Mr. Bruce Taylor, NH State Police Forensic Laboratory photographer, received the Officer Richard W.
