Senator Hassan\u2019s Cut Red Tape for Online Sales Act would raise the threshold for when online sellers receive 1099-K tax forms showing their online sales, helping ensure that casual sellers are not burdened with unnecessary paperwork or mistakenly pay more tax than they owe. Representative Chris Pappas introduced a companion bill in the House.\n\n\u201cOnline marketplaces can help many Granite Staters get much-needed extra income from selling used goods or cleaning out their closets.
