Following Senator Hawley\u2019s cross examination of an Allstate executive, Ms. Migal confirmed today that Allstate has agreed to pay her $497,000, plus attorney\u2019s fees, to fully rebuild her home.\n\n\u201cThis is a victory. Allstate has finally agreed to pay Ms. Migal\u2019s claim in full. But there are many others like her across the country who the insurance industry continues to scam. I will continue to investigate Allstate and other insurance companies to ensure they do right by their policyholders,\u201d said Senator Hawley.\n\nAs Chairman of the Disaster Management subcommittee, Senator Hawley launched an investigation into claims practices by insurance companies following natural disasters earlier this year.
