These federal funds will help to support the rebuilding of roads and other transportation infrastructure damaged on federal lands due to rain and snow.\u201d\r\nSenator John Hoeven is also a member of the Senate Transportation Appropriations Committee. He says, \u201cToday\u2019s funds will help ensure that roads and transportation facilities in our state can continue to be used safely.\r\nThese federal funds are distributed as follows:\r\n\u2022 North Dakota Department of Transportation: $100,000 in federal funding to help rebuild washout roads, bridges, culverts, and embankments in the Sheyenne and James River Basin that were damaged due to heavy rains.\r\n\r\n\u2022 North Dakota Department of Transportation: $100,000 in federal funding to support various road sites in Divide County that were damaged due to heavy rain fall.\r\n\r\n\u2022 National Park Service, McKinzie & Billings Counties: $26,474 in federal funds to help rebuild damaged federal land transportation facilities.\r\nThe federal funds are made available through the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration\u2019s Emergency Relief Program.\r\nThe program helps to provide additional federal funds to support the reconstruction of transportation infrastructure, like roads and bridges, on federal lands that were damaged as a result of a natural disaster.", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://www.heitkamp.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/heidi-in-the-news?ContentRecord_id=C6ECBF43-32C8-4D62-B875-E9347C355E7F"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.1038370430469513, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
