{"database": "press", "table": "releases", "rows": [["https://www.heitkamp.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/press-releases?ContentRecord_id=1856f4ba-635f-4fe4-a1fd-7cd9f8fe6a82", "Delegation Announces $3.6 Million in Grants to Expand, Renovate North Dakota Airports", "2013-08-09", "2013", "2013-08", "Democrat", "House", "ND", "Heidi Heitkamp", "H001069", "www.heitkamp.senate.gov", null, null, "legacy", "WASHINGTON \u2013 Senators Heidi Heitkamp and John Hoeven and Congressman Kevin Cramer announced today that airports across North Dakota have been awarded grants totaling almost $3.6 million for airport construction and maintenance projects.\r\n\u201cNorth Dakota\u2019s airports are experiencing tremendous growth,\u201d said the delegation. \u201cThese grants will fund construction and maintenance projects that are needed to meet the increased demand we\u2019re seeing in airports across the state.\u201d\u00a0\r\n\u00a0The following grants were awarded through the Federal Aviation Administration:\r\n \r\nGrand Forks International Airport will receive almost $2.5 million to construct a snow removal equipment building and to renovate the runway and taxiway lighting systems.\u00a0\r\nEdgeley Municipal Airport will receive $451,800 to construct a hangar building.\r\nState of North Dakota will receive $332,379 to update the state airport system study plan to address aviation needs impacted by energy development and economic growth.\r\nBottineau Municipal Airport will receive $150,000 to update the existing master plan with updates to the airport layout and to identify future airport needs.\r\nStanley Municipal Airport will receive $150,000 to construct an apron to provide needed aircraft parking at the airport.\r\nMott Municipal Airport will receive $33,750 to seal and rehabilitate the runway.\r\n \r\n\u00a0The grants were awarded by the U.S Department of Transportation with funds appropriated by Congress.\r\n\r\n###", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://www.heitkamp.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/press-releases?ContentRecord_id=1856f4ba-635f-4fe4-a1fd-7cd9f8fe6a82"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.3991761952638626, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
