These federal funds will help the food distribution kitchen that helps to fight hunger in Spirit Lake, purchase new kitchen equipment so they can continue to provide cooking classes and nutrition assistance to the local community.\u201d\r\nThese funds will be used as follows:\r\n \r\n$53,480 in federal funds to purchase six cooking stations for the food distribution kitchen. These federal grants are provided through the Community Facilities Grants program.\r\n \r\n \r\n$20,770 in federal funds to purchase additional equipment for the food distribution kitchen.
