U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp announced $182,200 in federal funding to North Dakota State University that supports canola research that could enhance production, better strategies for pest management, and provide better information to canola farmers.\r\nNorth Dakota is home to some of the best farm land in the world and making sure farmers and ranchers have access to the best possible information and technology only helps to increase their productivity, said Heitkamp.
