U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp announced a total of $50,000 in federal grants to support housing for low-income households.\r\nNorth Dakotans understand the importance of giving our neighbors a helping hand when they are most in need, said Heitkamp. This federal support will make sure some of the most vulnerable among us have a secure place to call home. And when all families have safe, affordable homes, our communities thrive.\r\nThese federal funds are awarded to Red River Regional Council to help make repairs and renovations to 15 low-income homes in Pembina County.
