I was proud to have led the congressional effort against this anti-mining, government-overreach rule and I\u2019m thankful Administrator Scott Pruitt recognized its harmful economic impact.\u201d\r\nEarlier this year, Heller also urged the EPA to allow for additional time to review the impact this rule would have on the mining industry. As a result, the EPA extended the comment period from 60 days to 120 days and Heller and his colleagues welcomed the opportunity to express their concerns and encourage their constituents to make their voices heard.", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://www.heller.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/pressreleases?ContentRecord_id=DA17F8EF-0CD9-4AE3-8FA1-79CFA37220CC"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.9223588276654482, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
