With the inclusion of this language in this NDAA report, our nations service men and women will feel safe while stationed at home. Nevada has a proud tradition of military service, and I will continue working hard protecting the brave men and women serving in our armed forces both at home and abroad.\r\nBackground:\r\nSenator Heller has been adamant about protecting our nations service men and women by allowing them to carry a concealed personal firearm on base. The stand-alone legislation he introduced in the United States Senate can be found here.\r\nSenator Heller also wrote a letter in July to NDAA conferees urging the inclusion of his amendment into the final NDAA Conference Report.\r\n###", 1, "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z", "2026-03-30T12:14:52Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://www.heller.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/pressreleases?ContentRecord_id=d1f10bc9-798b-4eb2-9ed9-9184dae1ed0b"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 2.0956308580935, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
