That\u2019s why we continually pushed back on this federal overreach, and we appreciate the Trump administration and EPA Administrator Zeldin for working with us to repeal this harmful rule.\u201d\n\nSpecifically, the Clean Power Plan 2.0 would have forced states to change their fuel source for electricity. The Biden administration advanced the rule despite a Supreme Court ruling in 2022, which found the administration overstepped its authority in imposing the sector-wide regulation.\n\nLast year, Hoeven joined President Trump as he signed executive orders to initiate the process of repealing the rule and other harmful regulations imposed by the Biden administration. The senator has also worked with EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin to roll-back the rule.\n\n-###-", 1, "2026-09-15T09:50:21Z", "2026-09-15T09:52:05Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://www.hoeven.senate.gov/newsroom/press-releases/hoeven-statement-after-epa-repeals-biden-era-clean-power-plan-2-0"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.5641790814697742, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
