Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Energy and Water Development Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) has awarded $500,000 to the University of North Dakota's (UND) Energy & Environmental Research Center (EERC).
