Jon Husted (R-Ohio) today joined Team Wendy workers in Cleveland to visit their facility and discuss the company\u2019s manufacturing efforts.\n\nHeadquartered in Cleveland, Team Wendy is a global manufacturer and supplier of advanced helmet systems for defense, law enforcement, search and rescue and adventure sports markets.\n\n\u201cRight here in Cleveland, Ohio workers are manufacturing equipment that protects our military and law enforcement officers across the globe. You can\u2019t do Made-in-America without Made-in-Ohio, and the workers I met with today at Team Wendy prove that every day,\u201d said Husted.\n\nIn the FY26 National Defense Authorization Act, Husted secured report language that encouraged the Department of the Army and Department of the Air Force to require head and hearing protection for aircraft maintenance personnel.
