Mr. President, I also am very pleased to\n\ncongratulate the University of Mississippi baseball team on its recent\n\n2022 NCAA World Series championship.\n\nIf there is anything an Ole Miss fan is sure of it is that the Rebels\n\nlove to keep you on the edge of your seat. Some fans were nervous when\n\nthe Rebels hit a midseason slump, but, boy, this talented team hit its\n\nstride right at the perfect time.\n\nThe players knew all along they had it in them to take it all the\n\nway. They even issued a warning in early May: Don't let the Rebels get\n\nhot. Well, the Rebels did get hot, and they were able to be there to be\n\nthe team that no one saw coming and the team that no one could stop.\n\nTheir impressive and exciting run through this year's College World\n\nSeries speaks volumes to the Ole Miss baseball program, its leadership,\n\nits players, and, of course, its fan base.\n\nMississippi's energy has been electric following the win, especially\n\nat Ole Miss's first-ever national baseball championship this year\n\noccurred after Pearl River Community College clinched the NJCAA\n\nDivision II baseball championship in June and after Mississippi State\n\nUniversity's win just last year.\n\nMississippi's sports culture is strong and it is not to be\n\nunderestimated. We take great pride in the legacy and inspiring example\n\nof these young athletes and their coaches.\n\nTo the entire Rebel baseball family, thank you for your hard work and\n\ndedication to the sport. To Ole Miss and to our great State,\n\ncongratulations and Hotty Toddy.", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-04-06T18:20:25Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://www.hydesmith.senate.gov/recognizing-ole-miss-rebels-and-pearl-river-community-wildcats-executive-calendar"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.7529701106250286, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
