Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), senior member of the Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee, today released the following statement in response to President Obama pledging $3 billion to the United Nations' (U.N.) Green Climate Fund:\r\n\"President Obama\u2019s pledge to give unelected bureaucrats at the U.N.\u00a0$3 billion for climate change\u00a0initiatives\u00a0is an unfortunate decision to not listen to voters in this most recent election cycle.\u00a0His climate change spending priorities, estimated to be\u00a0$120 billion since the beginning of his Administration, were on the ballot, and Americans spoke. The President\u2019s climate change agenda has only\u00a0siphoned precious taxpayer dollars away from the real problems facing the American people. In a new Congress,\u00a0I will be working with my colleagues to reset the misguided priorities of Washington in the past six years.
