The City of Lewiston will collaborate with Community Concepts, the City of Lewiston Economic and Community Development Department, City of Auburn Community Development Department, Healthy Androscoggin, State of Maine Public Health, and others.\u00a0\r\n\u201cHealthy homes make for healthy families,\u201d Senators Collins and King said in a joint statement.\u00a0 \u201cThis funding will make critical safety improvements to low-income housing units throughout Lewiston to protect families, children, and other vulnerable populations.\u201d\r\nIn June, Senator King wrote a letter in support of Lewiston\u2019s grant application.
